Adding a new shift
To add a new shift, go to Rostering > Jobs Admin
From there, click ‘new roster job’
On this page, you need to populate all fields:
| Field | Purpose | Values |

| Allocated to | Select who you’re rostering on | Drop down selection of available team members |
| Date | Specify the date of the shift | Date selection |
| Start time | Enter the start time of the shift | Time selector/keyboard input |
| End time | Enter the end time of the shift | Time selector/keyboard input |
| Break duration | Select how long a break the person will have on the shift. This will be used for calculating total worked time, and track against total time taken for their break | Drop down selection of time intervals |
| Add date | If you want to schedule multiple shifts for someone, you can add additional dates to apply the same start time, end time and break duration. Note, if you want multiple shifts but different shift times, you will need to action those as a separate entry | Date selector once you’ve clicked Add Daate |
| Schedule type | Determines whether the shift being booked in is for actual work, or to record periods of leave taken, ie sick leave, annual leave or long service leave | Dropdown selection |
Once you’ve completed all fields, click ‘Create Job’ to add these shift(s) to the roster.
Clicking cancel will not save any data entered.
