Accessing timesheets

Timesheets are accessed via the Portal. When you login, the home page will show you:

  1. A button to take you to your live timesheet for today
  2. An option to look up a timesheet from a specific date
  3. All timesheets which require your approval on the right

 

On your timesheet, you can see and do a number of actions.

  1. Add manual/offline time that isn’t captured by the system
  2. Confirm your timesheet for the day
  3. Change the way the detailed view data is displayed
  4. Expand to see all of your time for today
  5. The different buckets your time has been captured against and the time per bucket
  6. The total amount of time recorded for today
  7. The current status of the timesheet

By opening the details (items 4 and 5 above) you get to see the detail which was used to determine the amount of time allocated to the buckets.

  1. When time started being allocated to that bucket
  2. When time stopped being allocated to that bucket
  3. Total of the time spent in the bucket
  4. The bucket your time been allocated to
  5. Edit allocation
  6. Total time tracked for the day
  7. The application the data relates to
  8. The metadata associated with the time entry
  9. Time spent in that location

When you want to change the allocation of the time, you can click on the edit icon (5) to make the changes.

  1. The bucket the time is allocated to currently
  2. The start and end time of the entry
  3. Total time of entry
  4. Where you can change the allocation of this time
  5. Tick to mark the time as personal time
  6. Add notes/commentary to this entry
  7. The source of the time allocation
