Getting Started
Version 1 (2 July 2024)
- There is still some functionality in the admin portal that is incomplete, and some areas of the app that require more testing
- The admin portal still has some areas requiring more work.
- Adding an asset to a site (via the “View Site” page) is not yet complete.
Starting state:
- Standard assessments (“Assessment 1”, “Assessment 2 – Building”, and “Assessment 2 – Open” space) and shared assets (for “Assessment 1” and “Assessment 2 – Building”) have been setup and are ready for use in projects (in the config area).
- Initial reference data has been setup based on discussions, and some data extracted from example spreadsheets provided (in the config area).
- NOTE: While most functionality for all assessment types has been implemented, the focus to date has been to start with “Assessment 1” type assessments.
- To setup projects and run assessments in the app:
- Create clients.
- Create sites.
- Create projects.
- Add Site/Assessment type combos to a project.
- Assign a person to each Site/Assessment combo.
- Set a target date range in the app.
- Ass soon as the “From” date is reach the data will flow to the mobile app.
- While you are on-site running an assessment, double-check all of your data is being saved correctly via the “View my live data” page on the admin portal’s home screen.
The initial phase of using the platform will be “live testing”. Keep in mind, at the start there will be bugs and incomplete functionality. Tell Jason about bugs as you see then, and call out any incomplete functionality that is needed or not working as expected.
The user interface and workflows in the admin interface are also not refined due to the pace of development. I will be going back and continuing to refine the interface experience.
